The Spiritual Workers Association is a UK based Guild of Spiritual Workers and Spiritualistic Service Providers as well as an international umbrella group for all spiritual minded people. Bringing spiritual organisations and independents together across the world, we aim to promote excellence and improve standards in the field of spiritual work.
All spiritual workers need to have a recognised voice and the best way to achieve this is to work together and become our own governing body. We are proud to be spiritual workers. Now is the time to stand up and say so.
Full membership is open to all spiritual workers in the UK who are classed by UK legislation as a business/service provider. This covers anyone who charges or receives remuneration of any kind for their spiritual services.
We also invite all other spiritual practitioners across the world, who support the aims and objectives of the SWA, to join free as Friends of the SWA.

We offer many services at present and are always looking to improve existing services and add new ones, as well as the bennefits listed above we also offer:-
- Social networking site – our social networking site gives you an opportunity to speak to other members all round the world, discuss ideas and in the near future will give access to an online help facility that offers ‘healing’ for the ‘healers’.
- Regular member updates – email updates about new services, changes in the law that may affect you and anything else we think you might be interested in

The SWA offers spiritual workers the option of joining as a paying member and taking advantage of all the benefits of membership or becoming a Friend of the SWA which is free.
UK law states that anyone who charges or recieve goods in exchange for services is a trader. We at the SWA want to ensure that if you are a trader you have full representation as such. However you do not have to join just because you charge, that is your choice, but be aware that because the law classes you as a trader you will need to work within the law, the same as any other trader. We are simply here to help you.
We intend to work closely with all goverment bodies to ensure we have the most up to date information and advice for you.
We hope to eventually gain official partnerships with local and goverment bodies and are working toward that goal. We have been talking to local bodies for some time now to ensure we gain you the advice you need to work within the law and to be fully covered to carry out your spirtualistic services.
