The Spiritual Workers' Association Mission Statement
The Spiritual Workers Association is a not-for-profit self regulating organisation whose primary aim is to Define, Promote, and Protect Excellence in the Field of Spiritual Work and to ensure that all its members adhere to the highest possible standards. Its secondary aim is to create an informed and educated public to reduce vulnerability to deceptive practices by those who are fraudulent.
The Spiritual Workers' Association Core Values
- To give all spiritual workers a nationally recognised voice.
- To define and promote best practice in all spiritual disciplines whilst recognising and protecting the individuality and independence of spiritual workers and spiritual organisations.
- To raise standards across all spiritual disciplines through discussion, agreement and consensus and to produce member agreed guidelines that provide uniformly high standards.
- To work with other organisations and bodies to set up nationally recognised certification and to have this training recognised nationally.
- To provide the public with a database of spiritual workers that adhere to the high standards set out in the agreed guidelines.
- To promote and sustain professional integrity and competence throughout all spiritual disciplines.
- To inform spiritual workers of changes in legislation that may affect their work and to advise on relevant health and safety issues.
