I have been a spiritulist Healer since the age of 16 though I have never formaly quolified or trained, except with my father who was snu quolified. I have recently trained as a clinical Hypnotherapist and my partner and co director is quolified in both Reiki (to master teacher) and Indian Head Massage.

We officially opened our doors on 3rd October 2008. It is friendship that started the New Dawn and it is friendship that will keep its doors open.

The Centre was formed in response to a need identified by its founders to establish a local venue to learn and experience the essence of Spirit in a friendly and relaxed environment. New Dawn's concept is one of looking towards new horizons – hence the name.

Here at the New Dawn Spiritualist Centre we strive to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

We try to abide by the principles of spiritualism and incorporate them into our daily lives, no individual can be perfect but everyone can strive to become a better person.

We believe in the values of our constitution in which we seek to dispel the myths of spiritualism, we are certainly not Most Haunted. We aim to help others develop spiritually, help our local community and through time acquire counselling services for bereavement, substance abuse, etc.

We hope in the future to raise money for various charities and of course help and support our local community.

Attendance at the Centre is absolutely free for the reason that we believe that our doors are open to those regardless of their finances. We do however have a collection which contribution to is entirely optional, all donations remain within our Centre and are greatly appreciated. Raffles & refreshments are available for purchase.

Children are welcome, however they MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 16. Under 16's are not allowed to sit in the Open Circle, drawing/colouring equipment is available for younger children. Proof of age will be requested from teenagers should there be any uncertainty.

We are travelling this path together - as you develop in your spiritual journey so shall we. Hopefully as a group may we make our mark locally and complement other groups – New Dawn's success depends on us all.

I am a registered nurse who has been interested in spirit for a number of years (especially since my baby son passed 11 years ago and sent an angel to give me a very special message).
